Monitoring report “Universal Soldier” (July 2022)
The militarization and destruction of Ukrainian identity among children in the occupied territories do not stop even in summer.
Having no access to influence the minds of children through formal education during the holiday period, the Russian and occupation authorities use summer camps and other extracurricular activities to do so.
In the JULY report you will find the follow information:
- how thematic programmes in summer camps are used to destroy Ukrainian identity, create a distorted view of historical events, promote voluntary service in the armed forces of the occupying country, and create support for a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine;
- how military-patriotic camps prepare children to be soldiers for the future;
- what thematic events are organized by the occupation authorities for the heroization of the Russian and Soviet military and the militarization of children on the peninsula.
