{"id":7933,"date":"2025-05-09T08:54:33","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T06:54:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/almenda.org\/?p=7933"},"modified":"2025-06-04T14:44:54","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T12:44:54","slug":"richnij-zvit-za-diyalnist-cce-almenda-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/almenda.org\/en\/richnij-zvit-za-diyalnist-cce-almenda-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual report on the activities of CCE &#8220;Almenda&#8221;  &#8211; 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong style=\"font-size: revert;\">In 2024, the team at the Centre for Civic Education \u201cAlmenda\u201d focused its efforts on achieving four strategic goals:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>ensuring effective access to education for children and young people from the occupied and de-occupied territories;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>laying the foundations for safe reintegration and sustainable development;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>documenting crimes and violations of children\u2019s rights in the context of armed conflict, with the aim of ensuring accountability and upholding the right to truth;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>strengthening the organisation\u2019s institutional capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We implemented projects aimed at protecting the rights of children affected by occupation, including through efforts to increase international pressure on Russia for its violations of these children\u2019s rights and the destruction of their civic identity. A separate focus of our work was exposing Russia\u2019s policies of indoctrination and militarisation of children living in the occupied territories, as well as documenting crimes committed against children, including gathering evidence to ensure accountability for those responsible for violations of international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, we focused on ensuring access to all levels of education for children and young people from the temporarily occupied territories, with particular attention to making it easier for children and young people to obtain official certificates confirming their basic and complete secondary education.
