In such a process, the child becomes not a subject of education, but an object controlled by it. &nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, school education in the Russian Federation has long become one of the instruments of aggression against Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, through which the predetermined narratives<br>promotes, the purpose of which is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>consolidation of results of the occupation and annexation of part of the Ukrainian territory;<\/li><li>complication and\/or prevention of processes of de-occupation and re-integration of the mentioned Ukrainian territories;<\/li><li>changes in the social consciousness of children on the occupied Ukrainian territories for forming the generation of the \u201cRussian\u201d society, which has a loyal attitude to the objectives of the RF and is ready to join their fulfillment.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately, the Russian Federation has been implementing its own educational standards for a long time in the occupied Ukrainian territories &#8211; in Crimea and Donetsk, Luhansk regions. And since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in February 2022 and the occupation of parts of the Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, Russia has begun to introduce its education, textbooks and narratives in the newly occupied territories.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our organization in partnership with the Regional Center for Human Rights prepared a study \u201cSchool education: a hidden weapon of the Russian Federation against Ukraine\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tasks of the research:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>analysis of the federal state educational standards, work programs, and teaching concepts for the school subjects defined below within elementary and secondary general education in the Russian Federation;<\/li><li>analysis of a number of school study guides for 1-11 grades in the Russian Federation, approved in the federal list within elementary and secondary general education in the Russian Federation for the following mandatory subjects: \u201cFundamentals of Life Safety\u201d, \u201cSocial Studies\u201d, \u201cGeography\u201d, \u201cThe World Around Us\u201d, \u201cFundamentals of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics\u201d, as well as optional ones: \u201cFundamentals of Spiritual and Moral Culture of the Peoples of Russia\u201d, \u201cWorld Artistic Culture\u201d.<\/li><li>legal evaluation of the implementation of Russian education on the occupied territories of Ukraine within the identified narratives, in the mentioned standards, programs, and study guides from the point of view of its compliance with.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, our organization <strong>separately<\/strong> investigated the presentation of the <strong>history of Ukraine in Russian school literature<\/strong> with the aim of tracing the circumstances, reasons, and methods of introducing a distorted image of Ukraine through Russian school history education in Analytical review &#8220;History of Ukraine in Russian school history textbooks&#8221; (in Ukrainian only).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-51688e97-ae49-4e62-bda9-112bf3a7c8cc\" href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Study-School-education-a-hidden-weapon-of-the-Russian-Federation-against-Ukraine.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Study \u201cSchool education: a hidden weapon of the Russian Federation against Ukraine\u201d.<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Study-School-education-a-hidden-weapon-of-the-Russian-Federation-against-Ukraine.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-51688e97-ae49-4e62-bda9-112bf3a7c8cc\">Download <\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-95f3e0d6-c749-4b89-bd9c-e71cffdbe3c5\" href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Analitychnyy-ohlyad-Istoriya-Ukrayiny-v-rosiyskykh-shkilnykh-pidruchnykakh-z-istoriyi.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Analytical review &#8220;History of Ukraine in Russian school history textbooks&#8221; (in Ukrainian)<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Analitychnyy-ohlyad-Istoriya-Ukrayiny-v-rosiyskykh-shkilnykh-pidruchnykakh-z-istoriyi.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-95f3e0d6-c749-4b89-bd9c-e71cffdbe3c5\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">The study \u201cSchool Education: Hidden Weapon of the Russian Federation against Ukraine\u201d was prepared by the experts of the NGO \u201cRegional Center for Human Rights\u201d within the framework of the project of the NGO \u201cCenter for Civic Enlightenment \u201cAlmenda\u201d, with the financial support of the Prague Civic Center.
