On February 24, 2022, at around four o\u2019clock in the morning the president of the Russian federation V. Putin announced the \u201cspecial military operation\u201d with the ostensible purpose of \u201cdemilitarization and denazification of Ukraine\u201d. In just a few minutes, missile strikes across Ukraine led to the destruction of the lives of millions of Ukrainian children. They will become \u201cchildren of war\u201d, and their childhood will forever remain in memories as \u201cchildhood ruined by war\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With the purpose of preserving the historical truth and in order to provide the guarantees of non-repetition, the authors of this report systematized the information from open sources regarding six grave violations committed against children during the armed conflicts during nine months since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, and also tried to determine the impact of the violations on the realization of children\u2019s rights and their lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Methodology<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">In this overview we collected and analyzed the information about the grave violations, committed against children in the situation of the armed conflict during the period from February-24 to November-24, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The authors also singled out a separate violation of 6+, ant it is &#8216;the destruction of Ukrainian identity&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-24f6a568-9b3b-40d1-9feb-42dcedabae17\" href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Report-of-Almenda_Six-Plus-Grave-Violations-Against-Children-in-2022.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Read the full text of analytical report<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/almenda.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Report-of-Almenda_Six-Plus-Grave-Violations-Against-Children-in-2022.pdf\" class=\"wp-block-file__button\" download aria-describedby=\"wp-block-file--media-24f6a568-9b3b-40d1-9feb-42dcedabae17\">Download<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 24, 274 days have passed since the beginning of the third stage of the Russian-Ukrainian war waged by Russia in 2014, participation in which Russia attempted to deny.
